Maj. Gen. Ali Shadmani, recently appointed to head the Khatam-al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, was eliminated in an Israeli air strike. He took office after the death of his predecessor, Major General Gholam Ali Rashid. The IDF considers Shadmani Iran's top military commander, with significant influence over offensive plans against Israel. He previously held senior positions in the Iranian military structure, including deputy of the Khatam-al-Anbiya headquarters.
