Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs was transferred from the Fort Dix federal prison in New Jersey to a low-security facility in Pennsylvania. The decision was confirmed by the Federal Bureau of Prisons and comes after reports that other inmates cooked for him, cleaned, and gave him massages.
The transfer was ordered amid information about the rapper’s behavior in his cell and speculation about a possible injury. The prison administration, however, denied reports that the artist had been beaten and taken to hospital, calling them false.
Combs, 56, is serving a sentence of four years and two months following his conviction on July 2, 2025, for transporting people across U.S. state lines for the purpose of prostitution. The trial included testimony about the sex parties the artist called “freak-offs.”
In September, NBC News reported that the rapper had allegedly brought alcohol and a mobile phone into the prison. He was subsequently temporarily placed in a higher-security facility and lost 41 days of his sentence reduction for good behavior. His release is estimated for March 2, 2028, while his appeal against the conviction is under review.
