A famous rapper from Sweden was detained in Romania / Police suspect him of links to a criminal group from Stockholm

Haval Khalil, a 31-year-old rapper, was located and detained in Romania, where he has been living for approximately three years. Swedish police suspect him of having links to an organized crime group in Stockholm and of being involved in serious threats, extortion and armed incidents.

According to investigators, the group may be connected to an attack carried out in September 2024, when a 15-year-old teenager shot at the door of a property in the south of the Swedish capital. A musical artist and another person were inside the home. The door was destroyed, but no one was injured.

Haval Khalil was found at one of the properties he owns in Pipera. During the operation, police discovered substances suspected to be drugs, two pistols and a bulletproof vest. Romanian authorities are expected to request his provisional arrest, with a view to surrendering him to Sweden.

The investigation is being conducted in cooperation with the Swedish authorities. Journalists in Sweden who reported on the criminal group tried to obtain a statement from the artist's lawyer, but he declined to comment.😊•??* (ignore)
