The mutual defense agreement between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan was recently signed, shortly after an Israeli attack on Hamas leaders, raising concerns in the Gulf. Analyst Ali Shihabi stated that Pakistan's nuclear umbrella will protect Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the historical link between the two countries. The Pakistani Minister of Defense confirmed that the nuclear program will be made available to the Saudi kingdom if necessary. The agreement comes after a recent conflict between India and Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia plays an important role in maintaining regional stability.
