Ryanair has announced significant expansions of its winter schedule, including new routes from the UK, Finland, and Italy, but is facing challenges such as delivery delays from Boeing. CEO Michael O'Leary criticized Boeing's management for the delays. The company will significantly reduce the number of routes in 2026, affecting major destinations such as Germany, Spain, France, Belgium, and Portugal, due to high operating costs and airport fees. In Germany, Ryanair will cut 24 routes, and in Spain, it will eliminate approximately 1.2 million seats.
The company will also shift capacity from Germany to lower-cost countries. Ryanair reported an increase in passenger numbers and ticket prices, anticipating an annual profit between 2.13 and 2.23 billion euros, but remains exposed to external risks, including international conflicts and air traffic controller strikes. O'Leary emphasized that, despite the challenges, Ryanair aims to increase the number of passengers to 300 million annually by 2034.
