The Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, announced that 2,600 residential buildings in the capital have remained without heating due to Russian nighttime attacks on energy infrastructure. In Odesa, nearly 300,000 people have been left without electricity and water, and 200 buildings have no heating.

Russian attacks have targeted thermal power plants, causing significant damage, and the energy company DTEK reported that this is the 11th massive attack on its infrastructure since October 2022.

On the night of February 12, Russia launched an attack with 24 missiles and 219 drones, and the Ukrainian air defense destroyed 15 missiles and 197 drones.

Following the attacks, emergency power outages were introduced in several regions, and in the city of Lozova, two people died and six others were injured.
