The Odesa region in Ukraine was the target of a nighttime Russian attack, which caused considerable damage to energy, industrial, and port infrastructure.
The head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, reported damage to the premises of enterprises and equipment, and several fires broke out as a result of the strikes, which were quickly extinguished by emergency teams. Authorities confirmed that there were no civilian casualties, but power outages occurred in certain localities, with essential infrastructure having to switch to backup power sources. The Ministry of Development mentioned that an industrial barge was hit, and auxiliary buildings in a port suffered damage.
On the same night, Ukrainian air defense systems intercepted over 150 Russian drones, and 12 locations were affected by the attacks.
