Following a Russian attack, the mines in Dobropillia, Donetsk region, were disconnected from the power source, leaving 148 miners trapped underground. Mykhailo Volynets, the leader of the Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Ukraine, announced the situation on social media but did not provide further details about the attack or the rescue efforts. The Donetsk region is one of the most affected by the war, constantly subjected to Russian attacks.
