The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the takeover of the towns of Shevchenko and Novoiegorivka. The advance of Russian troops resulted in civilian casualties, with at least two people killed and 13 wounded, including three children. The representative of the Russian occupation announced that the attacks took place in Russian-occupied territory, accusing the Ukrainian army of using cluster bombs near a school.
