The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Monday urging foreign citizens, including diplomats, to leave Kyiv. This warning comes amid Russia's preparations to bomb defense industrial facilities and command centers in the Ukrainian capital.
The ministry justifies these attacks as a reaction to an alleged Ukrainian attack on a student dormitory in eastern Ukraine, while Kyiv claims it targeted a unit of Russian drone pilots. Although it did not specify the exact date of the attacks, Russia has intensified its bombings, already using the nuclear-capable ballistic missile Oresnik, which killed four people and injured over a hundred in the capital.
On the night from Saturday to Sunday, Russian bombings resulted in the deaths of at least four people, and the number of injured exceeded a hundred, according to authorities.
