Russia threatens that it could strike British military targets in response to the missiles supplied to Ukraine by the United Kingdom.

Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, warned that Russia could target British military objectives in Ukraine and outside this country in response to Ukrainian attacks on Russian territory, using missiles supplied by the United Kingdom. During a press conference, Zakharova urged London to abandon its hostile attitude, highlighting the risks of escalating the conflict.

She accused the United Kingdom and France of "playing with fire" by providing sensitive technology to Ukraine, threatening unpredictable consequences for both nations. Recently, the United Kingdom announced that it would provide Ukraine access to secret technologies for the production of Storm Shadow missiles, capable of striking deep into Russian territory, while France approved the licensing of European missile technology. This statement was made in the context of a meeting of allies in Kyiv, on the occasion of Ukrainian Independence Day.
