Moscow's Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that Russian anti-aircraft defenses have destroyed two Ukrainian drones heading towards the capital, without causing casualties or material damage. The Russian Defense Ministry reported that a total of 46 Ukrainian drones were shot down on Thursday night, mostly in the Bryansk and Crimea regions. As a precautionary measure, the civil aviation authority temporarily suspended operations at several Moscow airports, but air traffic resumed the following morning.
