On the night from Thursday to Friday, Russia launched a drone attack on the energy infrastructure in the Odesa region of Ukraine, causing fires and power outages in several localities, including in areas where the main seaports are located. Governor Oleg Kiper confirmed the attack, highlighting the impact on electricity supply. The energy company DTEK reported that two facilities were affected, restoring power for 40,000 customers, while 90,000 people continue to be without electricity.

In a separate incident, Russia announced that seven people, including a child, were injured in a Ukrainian drone attack in the city of Tver, where drone debris caused damage to a residential building. The regional governor mentioned that approximately 20 residents were evacuated due to the fire caused by the attack. Russia also stated that it shot down over 300 Ukrainian drones during the night, in the context of intensified attacks on energy infrastructure and the railway network in Ukraine.
