Zoiu mentioned the progress in the discussions in Geneva and underscored Romania's alignment with the European Union regarding common security interests. A recent meeting of foreign ministers was also mentioned, including with the Ukrainian counterpart, to discuss peace prospects. In the context of the negotiations, NATO chief Mark Rutte warned that the U.S. proposal for ending the war in Ukraine requires further significant discussions.
