On Monday, Kharkiv was the target of a missile attack from Russia, which caused significant damage to the energy infrastructure in the region. Mayor Ihor Terekhov announced that the enemy launched five missiles, and the damage is considerable. Following the attack, a 58-year-old man was injured and transported to the hospital, according to information provided by Oleh Syniehubov, head of the State Administration in Kharkiv. Terekhov mentioned that, although there is a possibility to strengthen the protection of the infrastructure by using materials such as concrete and metal, no structure can withstand an attack with five ballistic missiles. At the same time, the Ukrainian Air Force stated that they are also conducting air defense operations in Kharkiv against Russian drones.
