Russian President Vladimir Putin has said the United Arab Emirates is a favorable option for a meeting with US leader Donald Trump. The comments were made after a meeting with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Putin said that both Moscow and Washington are interested in the meeting and details are being worked out. Putin also expressed openness for a trilateral meeting with Ukrainian President Zelenski, but stressed the need for favorable conditions for talks. This would be the first meeting between the sitting presidents of Russia and the US since 2021.
