Protesters asked President Isaac Herzog not to grant clemency to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, involved in corruption trials, and called for a state investigation into the Hamas attack on October 7. The protest was marked by the fate of Ran Gvili, the last deceased hostage whose body is in Gaza, becoming a symbol of the authorities' failure. The organizers emphasized the importance of political responsibility, accusing Netanyahu of failures that led to the Hamas attack. The protesters rejected the idea of a clemency in exchange for accepting an investigation committee, considering that it would erase responsibility for recent tragedies. Additionally, the protests resumed after the October attack, which had previously suspended extensive demonstrations against the judicial reform proposed by the government.
