The Vatican announced on Tuesday that Pope Leo XIV will make a visit to Turkey from November 27 to 30, followed by a visit to Lebanon from November 30 to December 2. The visit to Turkey will include a pilgrimage to Nicaea, to mark 1,700 years since the first ecumenical council. Leo XIV aims to honor his predecessor, Pope Francis, who had planned a visit to these countries.
