The Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, warned that the coming months could be critical in the face of threats from Russia, according to information from American intelligence services. Tusk mentioned that Russia could be preparing a military provocation in Poland to test NATO's resolve.
The information suggests that Polish infrastructure could be targeted by missiles or drones, and the aim would be to put pressure on Ukraine's Western allies. Tusk emphasized that Poland is preparing for various situations, being aware of the threats. The President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, will participate in a NATO summit in Turkey, where these challenges will be discussed.
The Baltic states have also expressed concerns about their vulnerability to Russian attacks, and officials in the region have warned that Russia could resort to hybrid warfare. NATO's Article 5 guarantees that an attack on one member will be considered an attack on the entire alliance.
