The closure of the Polish-Belarusian border will continue until further notice, according to the Polish Ministry of the Interior. This measure comes against the backdrop of the Zapad military exercises, in which 30,000 soldiers from Russia and Belarus are participating, and is mentioned as part of efforts to secure the border. Poland has also restricted road and rail traffic, and relations with Belarus are already strained due to the migration crisis and accusations of provocative actions from Minsk.
