Krajewski emphasized that the Executive supports the position of the protesters who oppose the agreement. Prime Minister Donald Tusk expressed solidarity with the farmers, mentioning that, although Poland voted against the agreement, safety clauses were included to protect the interests of the Polish people. Discontent has led to protests in Warsaw, where farmers occupied an annex of the Chancellery and plan to set up a camp in front of the government. Farmers' unions have announced additional mobilizations across the country. The protesters criticize the government for the lack of effective action in the European Union.
