In an interview granted to the talk-show platform Ultrahang, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban stated that his party, Fidesz, is preparing to win the elections and is not considering any other scenario. Orban explained that decisions regarding a possible coalition will be made collectively by the party leadership, which includes between eight and ten people.

He emphasized the importance of a comfortable majority, preferring an "old-fashioned majority," but is prepared to face the challenges of a coalition government. The Prime Minister mentioned that he perceives politics as a mandate and is dedicated to fighting for the interests of the people. During the interview, Orban clarified a gesture made during a press conference with U.S. Vice President JD Vance, stating that he did not suggest a defeat, but that the elections are not over. He reaffirmed that victory will come only through the decision of the voters.
