Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, revealed that he underwent prostate cancer surgery last year after a routine medical check indicated a benign inflammation. In a message posted on social media, Netanyahu explained that following an annual medical evaluation, doctors successfully removed a cancerous tumor.

His assessment shows that he is healthy, with tests in normal parameters, and his heart remains in good condition, considering that in July 2023, he had a pacemaker implanted. Netanyahu states that he delayed communicating this information for two months to prevent the spread of misinformation from Iran, in the context of tensions between the USA, Israel, and Iran.
