In Beijing, four teams of humanoid robots faced off in 3-on-3 soccer matches, all fully autonomous and guided by artificial intelligence. The robots, equipped with advanced sensors, demonstrated ball-sensing skills and mobility on the pitch. The event was an opportunity to test robotic technologies, and the THU Robotics team from Tsinghua University won the competition, beating the Mountain Sea team 5-3. Cheng Hao, founder of Booster Robotics, emphasized the importance of sport as a testing environment for robots, suggesting that in the future there could be matches between robots and humans.
