The Chinese humanoid robot Tiangong Ultra ran 100 meters in 8.86 seconds on Tuesday at the World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing, improving the time of 9.39 seconds that it had set at the opening of the event.

Tiangong Ultra, developed by the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, recorded this new time in the semifinals of the large-sized robot category.
