Microsoft has announced that, starting October 14, it will no longer provide support for Windows 10, leaving hundreds of millions of users vulnerable to cyber attacks. Although devices will continue to function, the lack of security updates will expose them to malware and viruses. Approximately 40% of Windows users still use this operating system, and a survey suggests that many intend to remain on it. Users are encouraged to upgrade to Windows 11, which offers new protection and functionalities. Those who cannot upgrade can opt for the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program, which will end on October 13, 2024.
