Berlin has issued a warning regarding the "very high" level of threat from Iran, signaling the activation of commandos against the opposition in Europe. The spokesperson for the Ministry of the Interior stated that German authorities have strengthened protective measures for Jewish communities and Israeli institutions, following the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. At the same time, the head of the Israeli army, Eyal Zamir, emphasized that major European capitals are within the threat range of new Iranian ballistic missiles, which have demonstrated a range of 4,000 kilometers. The risks of transnational repression are also reported, with German security agencies closely collaborating to monitor the activities of Iranian actors. Recently, an opponent of the Iranian regime was attacked in the Netherlands, and authorities are considering all scenarios. A similar alert has also been issued in the United States and Canada, where the activation of terrorist groups with Iranian links is suspected.
