Dozens of Ukrainian drones struck St. Petersburg, in the most extensive raid on the hometown of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The attack occurred on the day of the opening of the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, aimed at attracting investments, and Putin's speech, scheduled for Friday, is now in question. Footage posted by locals shows explosions and fires, despite the risks associated with tightening penalties for disseminating these images. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia's response will be systemic. The drones targeted the oil terminal, a strategic facility, and an aviation equipment factory, as well as the corvette Boiki. The attack took place a day after a massive Russian raid on Kyiv, which resulted in 22 deaths, including a 3-year-old child. In this context, NATO chief Mark Rutte made a surprise visit to Kyiv to express solidarity.
