On Tuesday, Berlin was affected by a massive power outage, leaving 43,000 homes and 3,000 businesses without electricity, after two electricity poles were engulfed in flames. The fire, discovered at 3:00 AM, was extinguished after an hour of intervention by firefighters. The local police are investigating the incident, considering a possible political motive for the fire that caused significant damage, including to nursing homes and gardens.
