In a tragic incident, a 14-year-old teenager opened fire in a school near the Thai capital, Bangkok, causing the death of at least 7 people, most of whom were children.
The attack began after the young man killed his grandmother and stole her gun. During the attack, over 30 people were injured, and students were forced to hide under tables and in bathrooms to escape the assault. Special forces quickly intervened, evacuating students from the school.
Witnesses described the chaos and fear felt during the incident, with repeated gunshots heard in the hallways. Investigators confirmed that the attacker had planned the incident in detail, and Thailand's Prime Minister, Anutin Charnvirakul, expressed sorrow over this tragedy, emphasizing that such incidents should not occur in the country.
This is the second deadliest mass shooting in Thailand's history, following a similar incident four years ago.
