In an interview with Fox News, Mark Rutte, the NATO Secretary General, provided limited details about an agreement announced by Donald Trump following their discussions. Rutte mentioned that he did not discuss Danish sovereignty over Greenland, emphasizing that they agreed to collaborate on the security of the Arctic region, where activities by China and Russia are on the rise.

Donald Trump stated that this agreement led to the suspension of planned tariffs for February 1. He also announced that discussions will continue, involving more officials in negotiations. Rutte reiterated the importance of protecting the Arctic region, considering it a central point of their discussions.
