The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the death of a second Romanian citizen as a result of the floods in Spain, bringing the death toll of Romanian victims to two dead and 7 missing. The Romanian Embassy in Madrid and the Romanian Consulate in Castellón de la Plana have verified the information in the public domain, but so far have not received any confirmation from the Spanish authorities. Affected Romanian citizens can request consular assistance at the Romanian Consulate's telephone numbers.
