Kamala Harris explained her decision on Thursday night's The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, saying, "Listen, I'm a dedicated public servant. I've spent my entire career serving the people. I put a lot of thought into running for governor. I love my state, I love California. Recently, I made the decision that, simply, for now, I don't want to go back to the system. I think it's dysfunctional."
