The Freedom Edge air and naval exercises, conducted by the USA, South Korea, and Japan, aim to strengthen cooperation in the face of North Korean threats. The South Korean Ministry of Defense emphasized their importance in countering nuclear provocations. Kim Yo Jong, the sister of the North Korean leader, condemned the exercises, stating that they will have negative consequences. In the context of rising tensions, North Korea continues to prioritize relations with Russia and reject calls for negotiations with Seoul and Washington.
