Joan Baez, a legend of folk music, has announced her return to the studio to record a new protest song titled "No Kings," inspired by the anti-Trump demonstrations in the United States. The song, written by Jesse Welles, a young folk singer, will be released soon. Baez, who will turn 85, stated that she enjoys collaborating with younger artists and believes that the song fits her voice perfectly. The activist, known for her involvement in social movements, felt the need to create an anthem that would unite people against current politics. Baez also acknowledged the similarities between Welles and her former partner, Bob Dylan, but emphasized that she is happy to let Dylan remain in the spotlight.
