The footage was made public after being viewed by the hostages' families and the Israeli security cabinet. According to an army spokesman, at least two Hamas gunmen shot dead the six hostages in the dark, damp and cramped tunnel. The tunnel, 20 meters underground, was used by militants and had harsh living conditions.
