On Monday, Israeli armed forces launched new attacks in southern Lebanon, resulting in the killing of a Hezbollah commander, Mohammad Ali Hadid, and wounding seven civilians in a drone strike in the Nabatieh district. The attack took place at the Sharqiyah-Doueir intersection, causing significant damage in the area. Another attack targeted a motorcycle in the town of Aita al-Shaab, resulting in the death of another man. The Israeli army has intensified military activities at the border, deploying tanks and armored vehicles. Although a ceasefire has been in effect since November, Israel continues its attacks, accusing Hezbollah of strengthening its military capabilities. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun stated that Lebanon has no other option but to negotiate with Israel to resolve conflicts and protect the country's interests, emphasizing the importance of dialogue in the face of war.
