Iratxe Garcia Perez, head of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament, stated that Romania must be led by a pro-European coalition, emphasizing the importance of cooperation and genuine responsibility.

At the same time, the president of the European People's Party (EPP), Manfred Weber, expressed his support for Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, highlighting his achievements in strengthening the economy and promoting reforms. Weber criticized the Social Democratic Party (PSD) for straying from pro-European commitments and warned about the risks of populism that could affect funding from European funds. In the context of current geopolitical challenges, Weber praised Bolojan's determination to continue the necessary reforms for Romania's stability. This situation highlights the political tensions in Romania and the need for a stable government to respond to current challenges.
