Following the American airstrikes against the Iranian army, Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei declared that countries in the Middle East no longer protect American bases. He stated that the U.S. will not find safe refuge in the region for their actions. The American army carried out strikes in southern Iran, acting in legitimate self-defense to protect its troops from Iranian threats.

Tim Hawkins, spokesperson for the U.S. Central Command, confirmed that the targets included missile launch bases and Iranian vessels. Following the attacks, the Iranian press reported explosions in Bandar Abbas but assured that the situation is under control. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that they reserve the right to respond to any violation of the ceasefire by the U.S., claiming that they shot down an American drone and forced other aircraft to withdraw.
