The President of the USA, Donald Trump, stated on Tuesday that the recent attack by the American military on Iran was "justified," emphasizing that he will respond with force if Tehran retaliates.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump mentioned that the USA struck Iranian targets near the Strait of Hormuz, in response to Iran's attempt to place naval mines in the area and to the missile attack on an American military base in Jordan.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed these attacks, stating that they were carried out against the Islamic Revolutionary Guards of Iran, in reaction to recent attempts to attack commercial ships and American troops in the region.

This escalation of tensions underscores the complexity of the security situation in the Middle East.
