In the wake of US air strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities, Iran's parliament will discuss the country's withdrawal from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). Sara Fallahi, a member of the security committee, said the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, a key oil transportation route, will also be on the agenda. Iran has repeatedly threatened to withdraw from the NPT, arguing that its nuclear program is solely for civilian purposes.
