Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian foreign minister, stated in an interview with MSNBC that the United States has not asked Iran to completely cease uranium enrichment during the negotiations in Geneva. He emphasized that Iran has not proposed a suspension of this process either.

American President Donald Trump previously expressed the desire to completely ban uranium enrichment in Iran, considering it a red line, given that enriched uranium can be used in nuclear weapons.

Trump announced that he will decide in the next 10-15 days whether an agreement can be reached with Iran or if the U.S. will resort to force. At the same time, Iranian media reported that Tehran will finalize a proposal for an agreement in the coming days.
