The Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, stated in an interview that friendly countries, such as Russia, India, and China, can pass through the Strait of Hormuz, while enemy ships are prohibited.

"The Strait of Hormuz, from our perspective, is not completely closed - it is only closed to enemies," the Iranian foreign minister said on state television.

Araghchi emphasized that the Iranian armed forces ensure safe passage for friendly ships and denied the existence of negotiations with the United States, mentioning that the messages conveyed by the Americans are merely exchanges of information through intermediaries.

He also criticized Europe for its lack of response to international conflicts, emphasizing that it should acknowledge its mistakes.

"I believe that Europeans are beginning to realize what mistakes they have made and that they should have condemned this war from the beginning and opposed it. We hope that the brave voices we have heard in recent days will grow and be repeated in Europe. Europe claims to be a leader of international law and many Western values, but all of this is now called into question and they are unwilling to acknowledge the mistakes made," said Abbas Araghchi.

Araghchi also thanked the countries in the region for the assistance provided to Iran, highlighting international solidarity in the context of recent crises.
