Iran has agreed not to stockpile enriched uranium, a decision considered a major breakthrough in negotiations with the United States, according to Oman's foreign minister, Badr Albusaidi. He explained that the absence of stockpiling enriched uranium significantly reduces the relevance of enrichment in the current discussions. Oman, which acts as a mediator, has sent a diplomat to Washington to discuss the details with American officials. Albusaidi stated that all aspects of an agreement can be resolved amicably within three months, emphasizing that through these negotiations, it could be ensured that Iran will not develop a nuclear bomb.

He also mentioned that Iran will reduce its stock of enriched uranium to a minimum level and will be subject to verification. Despite this progress, American President Donald Trump expressed dissatisfaction with the negotiations, insisting on a total ban on uranium enrichment in Iran.
