The influencer “Clavicular,” accused in Massachusetts of raping a 17-year-old minor

American influencer Braden Peters, known online as “Clavicular,” has been accused in Massachusetts of raping a 17-year-old girl in an incident allegedly occurring on May 23, 2025, in the town of Chatham. He is also accused of administering a substance to the victim for the purpose of engaging in sexual relations and providing her with alcohol, according to court documents cited by The Associated Press.

A clerk-magistrate determined on September 4 that there was probable cause for the charges to be filed, and the criminal complaint was issued on September 8. Peters, 20, lives in Florida and is not in custody. He is due to appear before a Massachusetts court on October 14.

According to the statement given to police, the teenager met Peters through Instagram and was paid to appear in “looksmaxxing” livestreams. She said the influencer knew she was a minor, asked her to pretend she was 18, and gave her vodka.

The girl said that, after drinking alcohol at Peters’ family home, she fell asleep and woke up the next day while he was allegedly raping her. The influencer’s lawyers denied the allegations in a separate civil lawsuit and argued that the encounter was consensual. Peters is a prominent figure in the “looksmaxxing” trend, promoted on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and Kick.
