Peter Szijjarto, the Hungarian Foreign Minister, stated that the situation in Ukraine will deteriorate if European leaders undermine the peace plan proposed by the USA. In a statement, he emphasized that this plan represents a major opportunity for restoring peace in Central Europe, but that Brussels is not interested in approving it.

Szijjarto criticized the actions of European leaders, stating that they are actively working to block the approval of the plan, which will lead to a higher number of casualties and escalation risks. He emphasized that the war has already caused significant losses to Ukraine and Europe and called for the swift acceptance of the peace agreement to avoid further deterioration of the situation.
