Hezbollah announced on Thursday morning that it has launched rockets at northern Israel, accusing it of violations of the ceasefire agreement. This is the first attack by the group since the ceasefire was established.
The attack came after Israel carried out the most extensive raid on Lebanon, killing at least 254 people, according to Lebanese officials. The Israeli army quickly bombed over 100 targets in Lebanon as part of a coordinated operation.
The Trump administration and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the ceasefire does not apply to Hezbollah, while Iran claimed that Lebanon is included in the agreement. Although the mediator of the agreement, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, stated that the ceasefire applies to the entire region, Israel rejected this claim, and American officials confirmed that Lebanon is not part of the agreement.
