A 44-year-old man attacked two teenagers near his home in Fussa, Tokyo, seriously injuring one of them in the face and lightly injuring the other in the shoulder. The incident occurred before the suspect fled the scene. The police responded quickly; however, during the confrontation, the suspect sprayed several officers with an unknown substance, injuring three of them. Local authorities confirmed the incident, but the Tokyo Metropolitan Police declined to provide further details. In Japan, violent crimes are rare, with the country having one of the lowest homicide rates and strict gun laws.
