A French representative at the UN accused Russia of exerting pressure on the German investigation into the explosion of the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines, calling for repeated meetings of the Security Council.

At a meeting of the UN Security Council, a French diplomat criticized Russia for the frequent convening of this body, considering that the intention is to influence the German investigation into the Nord Stream pipeline explosions. The explosions in 2022 led to mutual accusations between the West and Russia. Independent investigations in Germany, Sweden, and Denmark have not identified the culprits, and recently, Germany issued arrest warrants for Ukrainian suspects. Representatives of the United Kingdom and the USA emphasized the importance of respecting the integrity of national investigations and focusing on the conflict in Ukraine.
