Five people, including four bomb disposal specialists and a security agent, died in Sevastopol, the largest city in Crimea occupied by the Russians, following an explosion during an operation to defuse explosive devices left after a Ukrainian drone attack.
Regional Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev confirmed the incident, highlighting the intensification of airstrikes from both sides in the fifth year of the conflict triggered by Russia in 2022.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that its air defense units intercepted 362 Ukrainian drones in various regions, including Crimea, a territory annexed by Russia in 2014. This situation reflects the escalation of tensions and violence in the region.
